Heart Safe Ham Lake - FREE CPR & AED training

Heart Safe Ham Lake provides free CPR and AED training for local residents and businesses.  Heart Safe is a program that is designed to teach Bystanders (compression only) CPR, and how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).  The goal is to increase survival rates for victims of sudden cardiac arrest by educating the public in CPR and the use of an AED.

The next classes are scheduled for Tuesday evenings, January 16th, February 20th and March 20th, starting at 7:00 p.m. and lasting about one hour.  The classes will be held in the training room of Fire Station #1 located at 15544 Central Avenue NE.

Registering to attend will help Heart Safe to prepare, but is not mandatory.  You can sign-up for a class by contacting Trudie at (763) 235-1666 or tfalk@ci.ham-lake.mn.us by email.

The Heart Safe Program would love your help.  Please let us know if you are interested in helping with training or supporting the Heart Safe Program in other ways (making phone calls, etc.) please contact Wendy Renner at wendy@hamlakecc.org or call Wendy at 763-434-3011.
