Bids being accepted for two Fire Department vehicles

The City of Ham Lake has the following surplus equipment that is being offered for sale:  Vehicle #1:  1986 Ford L9000 Pumper/Engine (Photo 1, Photo 2); Vehicle #2:  1988 Ford L8000 Tanker (Photo 1, Photo 2).

Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at the Ham Lake City Hall, 15544 Central Avenue NE, Ham Lake, Minnesota at which time bids will be opened.  All bids must be submitted on a “Surplus Equipment Bid Form” and sealed inside an envelope which must be marked “Surplus Equipment Bid” on the outside.  Detailed information on vehicles and bid form available at www.ci.ham-lake.mn.us/docs/SURPEQUIP2010.docx.  Bids will be considered by the City Council at their meeting on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 6:00 P.M.

The following conditions apply:

  1. Bids shall be for cash purchases only.
  2. This surplus equipment is available for inspection at the City Hall at any time during regular business hours and at other times by appointment.
  3. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor irregularities.
  4. The City of Ham Lake, through this advertisement, makes no representation as to the condition of this surplus equipment.  All equipment will be sold “as is” with no warranties, express or implied.  By bidding, all bidders accept these conditions.
