Recycling and Refuse

The City of Ham Lake contracts with Ham Lake Haulers for refuse and recycling pickup. The billing is done quarterly on your Connexus bill. To change or set-up your refuse contact Ham Lake Haulers.

Low Base Customer             $9.08
30-36 Gallon Customers       $12.64
60-78 Gallon Customer        $15.57
Townhomes                          $15.57
77-90 Gallon Customers       $17.87
Tow Container Customers    $29.31

No need to separate recyclables...

Simply place all recyclable materials inside the Single Sort cart.

Recyclable materials include:

Newspaper, magazines, catalogs, phone books
Direct mail, advertising, envelopes of all types
Paperbacks, file folders, note books, clean paper bags
Colored paper, fax and telex sheets
Boxboard: Cereal, cake, chips, cracker boxes (be sure to remove foil & cellophane liners)
Corrugated cardboard
Metal food cans and aluminum beverage cans (rinse)
Glass bottles and jars (remove lids and caps; rinse)
Plastic bottles (rinse & throw away lids, pumps & metal handles)
Examples: soda, milk, shampoo, water & laundry containers

To ensure service have your Single Sort cart street side by 6:30 a.m. Please keep a 3 foot clearance between your trash and recycle cart.

Ham Lake Haulers observes the following six holidays:
Memorial Day Independence Day (4th of July) Labor Day	Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day New Year’s Day
Memorial Day Monday, May 31, 2010	All service days will be delayed by one day.
Independence Day Sunday, July 4, 2010	Only Tuesday service days will be delayed by one day. Monday & Thursday service days will be collected as normal.
Labor Day Monday, September 6, 2009	All service days will be delayed by one day.
Thanksgiving Day Thursday, November 25, 2010	Thursday service days will be delayed by one day.
Christmas Day Saturday, December 25, 2009	There will be no change to collection days.
New Year’s Day Saturday, January 1, 2010	There will be no change to collection days.
