ROAD CONSTRUCTION HIGHWAY 65 - Spring Lake Park, Blaine, Ham Lake and East Bethel

Road construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 8, 2024

MnDOT will be resurfacing, doing repairs, and bridge replacement on more than 19 miles of Hwy 65 between Anoka County Road 10 in Spring Lake Park and 237th Avenue in East Bethel.

As preliminary work begins on Monday, April 8, drivers will encounter nighttime lane closures beginning at the south end of the construction area.

During this year’s work, traffic will be single lane head-to-head traffic on the side of the highway not under construction through the project area beginning in late April. There also will be four full weekend closures with detours, a full month-long closure between Constance Boulevard and Viking Boulevard in June and a ten-day closure of 93rd Lane in Blaine.
