Alcoholics Anonymous/ALANO

Meetings of a local chapter of AA are held every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Blaine Methodist Church, 621 – 115th Avenue, Blaine.

The Blaine Alano provides a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. Meetings are held at 13536 Hwy. 65 NE. For more information contact the Blaine Alano.

Anoka-Champlin Meals on Wheels

A hot, home-delivered meal is available Monday through Friday to persons 60 years of age or older who are unable to prepare a daily nutritious meal for themselves, or to those under 60 who are disabled.

Anoka-Hennepin Community Education Preschool

Anoka-Hennepin Community Education Preschool Program, licensed by the State of Minnesota, has five groups for 3, 4, and 5-year-olds at its Ham Lake location. Registration usually begins in April for the following September - May school year.

Cub Scouts - Pack 508

Pack 508 has provided Ham Lake boys with 40 years of "Fun with a Purpose." Pack 508 is Chartered by the Ham Lake Lions and meets at McKinley Elementary School.

Ham Lake Chamber of Commerce

The Ham Lake Chamber of Commerce is an association of area businesses and anyone interested in the City's business climate. It represents, supports, and advocates businesses' individual and collective needs in the Ham Lake area. Membership meetings on the second Wednesday of each month are open to the public.

Ham Lake Development Company (HLDC)

The Ham Lake Development Company (HLDC) is a non-profit (501C3) organization that helps businesses by making low-interest loans to those wanting to expand or move to the Ham Lake Community. The HLDC was formed in 1982 to encourage and promote the growth, expansion, and development of industrial, commercial, retail, and other small business concerns in the city of Ham Lake. To date, the HLDC has helped over 24 businesses with loans totaling over three-quarters of a million dollars and creating 63 new jobs in the city. The HLDC board of directors meets monthly to consider new business requests and follow up on ongoing projects. Ham Lake Lake Association

A non-profit 501(c)3 organization formed by lake shore owners on Ham Lake in Ham Lake, Anoka County, MN to preserve and maintain the health of the lake.  Learn more by visiting their Facebook page or following them on Twitter.

Ham Lake Lions Club

For over 45 years, the Lions Club has actively served the community's civic interests and promoted individuals' welfare through physical and monetary assistance. A nonprofit organization, the Lions Club hosts annual fundraisers and participates in or sponsors activities like the Seniors' Christmas Party, Adopt-A-Highway, Snowmobile Safety, Youth Camps and Youth Exchange, Eyebank leader and hearing dogs, and donates to local schools and fire departments.

Ham Lake Sportsmans Club

The Ham Lake Sportsmans Club, organized in 1951 to improve the general area with an emphasis on promoting conservation, is a contributor to the cost of the aeration of Ham Lake. The Club also sponsors Boy Scout Troop 506, youth hunter safety classes each fall, and the Adopt-A-Highway program along Constance Boulevard. A shotgun trap league meets during the summer on Wednesday and Thursday nights. It provides open shooting to nonmembers and four open turkey shoots.

North Anoka County Emergency FoodShelf and Clothing Closet (NACE)

NACE provides food and clothing to people in need through the generosity of our community.  The FoodShelf and clothing closet are open Monday 9 am to Noon, Tuesday 5-8 pm, Wednesday 1 pm to 4:00 pm, and Thursday 8-11 am.  NACE serves all residents of Ham Lake who are welcome to visit once a month up to 12 times per year.  Donations are accepted during business hours.  NACE is located at 18511 Highway 65 NE, P.O. North Metro Community Volunteers

North Metro Community Volunteers is a group of local women who get together to promote community service, offer personal growth opportunities, and provide fellowship.  Meetings are held once a month at the Majestic Oaks Restaurant to plan events and may include speakers on topics of interest to women.  A variety of social events is also planned throughout the year.  For further information, call 763-434-7464.

Our Saviour's Preschool

The Way of the Shepherd Catholic Montessori School
