City Elections

City elections for Mayor and Councilmembers are held the Tuesday after the first Monday of November in even-numbered years. The Mayor's term is four years; Councilmembers' terms are also four years. Councilmembers are elected "at-large."

Other Elections

Elections for other county, state, and federal elections are also held the Tuesday after the first Monday of November.

Election Results

The election results will be available on the Anoka County Elections website as soon as they are reported from the precincts on election night.

Application deadline You can apply for a ballot any time during the year, except the day of the election.

Leave time for election officials to mail your ballot. Your returned ballot must be received by Election Day.

If you are interested in serving as an Election Judge, please complete the application and return it to City Hall.
